The club founded in 2019 and initially based in Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom State kicked off their campain with a 1-0 victory against Jo Sportyne FC, courtesy an early strike by Savior Isaac, before a 6-5 penalty shootout win against 36 Lions in the round of 16 following a goalless regulation time. They found the competition tougher at this stage, conceding for the first time in the tournament, going behind at half time against defending champions Smart City FC. They responded scoring five times in the second half, to win 6-2.
