Chief Isaac Anwuzia who received the approval of the governor before embarking on the execution of the said long range km road project, said his interest in road construction was borne out of the desire to open up the local government area for investors in line with the policies of the Okowa administration.

Chief Anwuzia made the disclosure while inspecting the on-going Umuneze-Post Office road projects in Ogwashi-uku.

According to the chairman, “investors are very vital to the socio-economic development of our people; they will create job opportunities and contribute to the development of our local government area that is why we are constructing roads in all parts of the council area, to make our communities accessible.”
