Manchester United Names Temporary Replacement After Sacking Ole Solskjaer

The recent embarrassing 4-1 defeat against the Manchester United team in the hands of Watford was the last straw and it made the club sack its manager, Ole Solskjaer.

The old Trafford team, Manchester United had recently announced that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had finally been relieved of his duties as the head coach of Manchester United.

In a statement made by Manchester United following the approval of Ole’s sack, it reads

” Ole Solskjaer would forever be a legend in the Old Trafford team but even though this decision is a difficult one, it had to be done for the interest of the club”.

” The results of the Matches the team participated in the past few weeks had been unexpected and disappointing at the same time”.

” On behalf of the entire Manchester United team, we thank Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his immense support and roles in the club, not just as a player,

but as a good man who enabled the team to scale through some obstacles through his managerial tactics”.

” For now, Micheal Carrick would oversee the task of the Manchester United team manager for upcoming games and the club would work towards finding an interim coach before we finally find a suitable replacement for Ole Solskjaer”.

The recent 4-1 loss to Watford FC in an away match brought the Job of Ole to an end and despite the poor performance of the team,

Ole Gunnar is still respected due to his legendary performance in the Old Trafford team during his Football career.

It can be recalled that Ole signed a new three-year contract with Manchester United in July 2021 but the recent performance of the team forced the termination of the contract.

Many previously called for the sack of Ole after the 5-0 loss to Liverpool FC and 2-0 loss to close rival, Manchester City but the club wasn’t willing to do so until they lost to Watford recently.

As people criticised Ole for the issues in the Manchester United team, Bruno Fernandez stood up for him and pointed out that the players should take part in the blame

and not just the coach as their performance determines the result the team receives at the end of the game.

Manchester United would face Villareal on Tuesday in the UEFA Champions League encounter while they visit Chelsea in Stamford Bridge for the Premier League clash on Sunday.
