It seems to the era of Ed Woodward as the Chief executive officer (CEO) of Manchester United is coming to an end as it has been reported that Richard Arnold has been set to take over as the CEO of the Old Trafford team.

Richard Arnold would be named the New CEO of Manchester United within a few days and Ed Woodward, the outgoing CEO, is expected to hand over on the same day.
Reports revealed that Richard Arnold is currently to group managing director of Manchester United and the process of naming him as the new CEO of the club is more like an elevation of his status in Old Trafford.
As Richard Arnold who is still the group managing director is set to replace Ed Woodward, it doesn’t mean Woodward would completely stay away from the affairs of Manchester United as he would take a consultancy role in the club for months.
Some termed the possibility of Ed Woodward being replaced by Richard Arnold as a surprise as it wasn’t expected.
Reports revealed that the upcoming Manchester United’s CEO would make certain reforms in the club which would possibly affect the club’s policies and conduct.
When reacting to this, some fans pointed out that the European super League could be the main reason Ed Woodward is currently leaving his position as the CEO of the club as previously,
it was reported that he would step down at the end of 2021 following the Super League crisis which had some negative impacts on some top football clubs in the English Premier League.

Richard Arnold was born in 1971 and he is a British accountant, the current director and the upcoming CEO of Manchester United FC.
Richard Arnold who was born in the year, 1971 is currently 50 years of age.
Arnold was educated at the King’s School located in the City of Manchester, UK; on his tertiary education, he studied at the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom where he graduated in 1993, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant
In 1996, Arnold qualified as a chartered accountant and apart from his Manchester United job, he is the current Governor of King school in Manchester.
