“It’s a top team we were playing against with high-quality players. Obviously, we knew that, but I think we showed our quality in moments. I missed a few games through illness, so I’m just glad to be back. I’ll keep working and keep striving to improve.

“As we keep on playing, the confidence between us will grow and we’ll create even more chances together.

“It was just about showing our character really, not going out in the second half feeling sorry for ourselves. I missed a few games through illness, so I’m just glad to be back. I’ll keep working and keep striving to improve.

“Especially when it was 4-3, you felt that energy from the fans. Every single goal that we got back, they got louder and louder and you could feel the home supporters getting a bit nervous. It’s just a shame that we couldn’t get the fourth goal to make it 4-4 and maybe go on to win the game.”
