Egypt Surpasses Nigeria, Sets New AFCON Record After Win Vs Morocco
The Pharaohs of Egypt got here from behind to earn a dramatic 2-1 win towards Morocco after extra-time , in Sunday’s quarter-final tie on the AFCON 2021.
Liverpool ahead Mohamed Salah impressed the seven-time African champions to the win after scoring and offering the help for the winner.
Following the final win the Pharaohs now maintain the file for probably the most semi-final appearances ever made.

They surpasses Nigeria to achieve the semi-finals of the AFCON for the sixteenth time in its historical past.
They will now meet hosts the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon within the semi-final on Thursday.
This is Egypt’s first semi-final look because the 2017 version.
