Arterta Reveals What He Did After Arsenal Beat Leicester City

The 2020/2021 Football league season had commenced and from observations, unexpected results and events are taking place. As usual, the English premier league (EPL) analysts is the most competitive football league in Europe and recently, it appears that Arsenal had improved in their performance as they beat Leicester City in their premier league clash today.

It can be recalled that at the beginning of the league season, Arsenal’s performance could be viewed as terrible and some analysts described it as the worst season start for the club.

Fortunately for the Gunners team ( Arsenal), they improved in their performance after the loss to Manchester city weeks ago. In their recent match against Leicester City, they were able to stun the foxes 2-0 after Gabriel and Smith scored early goals which put them in the lead.

In just five minutes m, Arsenal was able to take the lead as Gabriel scored after Bukayo Saka’s assisted through a corner kick before Emile Smith Rowe found the ball at the back of the net as he capitalised on some poor Leicester city defending to overcome Kasper Schmeichel at the Post.

Once again, Arsenal’s goalkeeper, Ramsdale continued to prove all his opposers wrong with his outstanding saves which helped in shielding Leicester’s James Maddison’s free-kick onto the crossbar before the halftime break.

Leicester tried to hit the Arsenal team hard but was unlucky after Arsenal keeper, Aaron Ramsdale blocked all chances available for them, and there was no way back into the match. The Victory for Arsenal tonight means that the club is now placed at the 5th position in the EPL table while Leicester is placed at the 10th position.

After the match, Arsenal’s coach, Mikel Arteta said ” I was delighted that the gunner’s team did well against a top team. The style of teamwork enabled us to strive harder and get the desired 3 points needed to boost our position in the league table”.

Arteta added, ” We knew our opponents would hit us hard in the second half, they created a tough environment for us, but we changed a few things and got control back in the game. We need to carry on. Despite our win, we are still not where we want to be. There are lots of things to improve in the team”.
